About Odyssey of the Seas
Odyssey of the Seas is a Quantum Ultra-class cruise ship from Royal Caribbean International, delivered in April 2021 by Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany. At 169,379 gross tons and 1,138 feet long, she accommodates 4,198 passengers at double occupancy across 16 guest decks. Odyssey was the first Quantum Ultra-class ship designed to sail from the United States, following Spectrum of the Seas which was purpose-built for the Asian market. The ship features the signature North Star glass observation capsule that extends 300 feet above sea level for panoramic ocean views, the RipCord by iFLY skydiving simulator, a SeaPlex multipurpose sports arena, and the Two70 entertainment venue with its stunning floor-to-ceiling windows and robotic screens. Odyssey introduced several innovations to the fleet including a new Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade concept and the Giovanni's Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar. The ship also features two pools, a solarium for adults, and the Vitality at Sea Spa. Odyssey of the Seas sails a variety of Caribbean itineraries from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and seasonal European voyages, offering guests an ideal blend of adventure, relaxation, and world-class entertainment on every voyage.
