AIDAcosma is the flagship of AIDA Cruises, the popular German cruise brand owned by Carnival Corporation, delivered in December 2021 from Meyer Werft in Germany. At 183,900 gross tons and 1,112 feet long, she carries approximately 5,400 passengers and is built on the Excel-class platform. AIDAcosma features a distinctive design tailored to the German-speaking cruise market with an emphasis on casual resort-style cruising. The ship boasts an extensive Beach Club with retractable glass roof, a Four Elements outdoor adventure deck with waterslides and a climbing wall, and the Body & Soul wellness area spanning multiple decks. Dining follows AIDA's inclusive concept with 17 restaurants and 23 bars, ranging from the East Asian-inspired Fuego restaurant to the gourmet Rossini specialty dining and the expansive Markt buffet restaurant. Entertainment includes the innovative 360-degree Theatrium show lounge, AIDA's signature shows, and live music venues. AIDAcosma is powered by dual-fuel LNG engines, reflecting AIDA's position as a sustainability leader in the German cruise market. Children's facilities include dedicated kids' and teen clubs. AIDAcosma primarily sails Mediterranean, Northern European, and Arabian Gulf itineraries, departing from ports popular with German travelers including Hamburg, Kiel, and Palma de Mallorca.
