MSC Grandiosa

MSC Grandiosa is the lead ship of MSC Cruises' Meraviglia-Plus class, delivered in November 2019 from Chantiers de l'Atlantique in France. At 181,541 gross tons and 1,086 feet in length, she carries up to 6,334 passengers and was the largest ship in the MSC fleet at her launch. MSC Grandiosa features a dramatic 341-foot LED dome ceiling over the central Galleria Grandiosa promenade, displaying ever-changing digital art and Mediterranean-inspired scenery. The ship introduced Cirque du Soleil at Sea with two exclusive shows designed for the MSC fleet, performed in a purpose-built lounge called the Carousel. Notable features include the MSC Yacht Club, an exclusive ship-within-a-ship luxury enclave with private pool, restaurant, and 24-hour butler service. The ship boasts five swimming pools, a thrilling waterpark with three waterslides, the Sportplex arena, and the expansive MSC Aurea Spa spanning two decks. Dining options include 12 restaurants and 20 bars, featuring Mediterranean, Asian, and American cuisine. MSC Grandiosa played a historic role during the COVID-19 pandemic as one of the first major cruise ships to resume sailing in August 2020 with enhanced health protocols. She currently sails Mediterranean itineraries year-round from ports including Genoa, Barcelona, and Marseille.
