Arvia

Arvia is the newest and largest ship in the P&O Cruises fleet, delivered in December 2022 from Meyer Werft in Germany. At 184,089 gross tons and 1,130 feet long, she carries 5,200 passengers at double occupancy and is a sister ship to Iona. Built on the same Excel-class platform as Carnival Celebration and Mardi Gras (all part of the Carnival Corporation family), Arvia is designed around the concept of bringing the outside in, featuring a stunning glass-roofed SkyDome pool and entertainment complex. The ship introduces several firsts for P&O Cruises including a swim-up bar, the first at-sea gin distillery in collaboration with Salcombe Gin, and an elevated outdoor waterpark. Celebrity chef partnerships feature prominently with dining options from Gary Rhodes, Marco Pierre White, and Jose Pizarro. Entertainment centers on the Headliners Theatre, SkyDome shows, and live music venues. Arvia is powered by LNG fuel technology, reflecting P&O's commitment to more sustainable cruising. The ship features dedicated family zones, an adults-only Serenity area, and the Oasis Spa. As a P&O Cruises ship, Arvia caters primarily to the British market, sailing from Southampton to the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and Northern European destinations with a distinctly British onboard experience.
