Disney Dream

Disney Dream is the third ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, launched in January 2011 from Meyer Werft in Germany. Measuring 129,690 gross tons and 1,115 feet in length, she carries 4,000 passengers at double occupancy and marked a major expansion for Disney Cruise Line. Disney Dream's design blends Art Deco elegance with contemporary Disney magic, featuring a spectacular three-story atrium crowned by a shimmering chandelier and a bronze statue of Admiral Donald Duck. The ship pioneered the AquaDuck water coaster, the first water coaster at sea, propelling riders through transparent tubes high above the ocean. Rotational dining takes guests through three uniquely themed restaurants including Enchanted Garden, Royal Palace inspired by Disney's classic princess films, and Animator's Palate with its interactive animation experience. The Walt Disney Theatre hosts original Broadway-style musicals including The Golden Mickeys. Virtual Porthole technology in interior staterooms provides real-time ocean views with animated Disney character appearances. The Senses Spa provides adults with a serene retreat, while the Edge and Vibe clubs cater to tweens and teens. Disney Dream sails short three- and four-night Bahamas itineraries from Port Canaveral, Florida, with every cruise calling at Castaway Cay, Disney's pristine private island.
