Spectrum of the Seas

Spectrum of the Seas is Royal Caribbean's Quantum Ultra-class cruise ship, purpose-built for the Asian market and launched in April 2019 from Meyer Werft in Germany. At 169,379 gross tons and 1,138 feet long, she carries 4,246 passengers at double occupancy and was the first Quantum Ultra vessel in the fleet. Spectrum introduced unique features designed specifically for Asian guests, including a hot pot restaurant called Sichuan Red, a karaoke lounge, and a dedicated card and mahjong room. The ship retains the beloved Quantum-class innovations including the North Star observation capsule, RipCord by iFLY, SeaPlex arena, and Two70 entertainment venue. Spectrum also features exclusive two-story Ultimate Family Suites and the largest suite complex in the Royal Caribbean fleet at that time, the Golden and Silver Suite classes with private dining and lounge access. The ship sails primarily from Shanghai and other Asian homeports, offering itineraries to Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, and Southeast Asian destinations. With her blend of Quantum-class thrills and Asian-market customizations, Spectrum of the Seas has become one of the most popular cruise ships sailing in the Asia-Pacific region.
