Anthem of the Seas

Anthem of the Seas is the second Quantum-class cruise ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet, launched in April 2015 from Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany. Measuring 168,666 gross tons and 1,141 feet in length, she carries up to 4,905 guests and features the groundbreaking innovations that defined the Quantum class. The ship boasts the North Star observation capsule, RipCord by iFLY skydiving experience, SeaPlex indoor activity complex, and the transformative Two70 entertainment lounge. Anthem was the first Royal Caribbean ship to homeport year-round from the New York area, sailing from Cape Liberty Cruise Port in Bayonne, New Jersey. This strategic positioning makes her accessible to the massive Northeast US population and allows for diverse seasonal itineraries including Bermuda, Caribbean, Canada, and New England sailings. The ship features Dynamic Dining, offering guests the freedom to choose from a variety of complimentary and specialty restaurants without fixed dining times. Entertainment includes original productions in the Royal Theater and immersive shows at Two70. Anthem of the Seas underwent upgrades adding features like laser tag, the Playmakers Sports Bar, and enhanced kids' programming, keeping her competitive and fresh for returning guests.
