A ship calls at a port when its AIS position is seen inside that port's arrival radius. A call counts in the month and on the day the ship arrives. Ships we do not track, and calls no position reached us for, are not counted, so these are figures for the tracked fleet, not official port statistics. We do not publish time in port: AIS fixes arrive hours apart, which makes departure times too rough to report.
