Norwegian Escape

Norwegian Escape is the first Breakaway-Plus class cruise ship from Norwegian Cruise Line, delivered in October 2015 from Meyer Werft in Germany. Measuring 164,600 gross tons with a length of 1,069 feet, she carries 4,266 passengers at double occupancy and was the largest ship in the NCL fleet at her debut. Norwegian Escape features a vibrant hull art design by marine wildlife artist Guy Harvey, depicting ocean conservation themes. The ship introduced several firsts to the fleet, including the largest ropes course at sea with a plank walk extending eight feet over the ship's edge, the Aqua Park with five multi-story waterslides including the tandem Free Fall speed slides, and Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville at Sea restaurant and bar. The District Brew House offers 24 craft beers on tap, while Food Republic features global street-food-inspired dishes. The Waterfront, NCL's signature outdoor promenade, provides oceanfront dining at venues like La Cucina Italian restaurant and Bayamo by Jose Garces. Entertainment includes the Broadway hit After Midnight and the Cirque-style show Elements. The Haven aboard Escape offers 42 suites in a private complex with exclusive pool, restaurant, and concierge services. Norwegian Escape sails year-round from PortMiami on Caribbean itineraries.
