Norwegian Getaway

Norwegian Getaway is a Breakaway-class cruise ship from Norwegian Cruise Line, launched in January 2014 from Meyer Werft in Germany. At 145,655 gross tons and 1,069 feet long, she carries 3,963 passengers at double occupancy and features vibrant hull art by pop artist David "LEBO" Le Batard. Norwegian Getaway was designed as the ultimate Miami ship, originally homeporting year-round from PortMiami. The ship features The Waterfront, NCL's signature open-air oceanfront promenade lined with restaurants and bars, and 678 Ocean Place, a vibrant indoor entertainment complex spanning three decks. Attractions include the Aqua Park with five waterslides, a three-level Sports Complex with a ropes course featuring a plank walk over the ocean, a rock climbing wall, and a bungee trampoline. Dining spans over 28 restaurants and bars including Le Bistro French restaurant, Ocean Blue seafood, Bayamo by Jose Garces, and the famous Carlo's Bake Shop from Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro. Entertainment features the Broadway musical Burn the Floor and the Cirque-style show Legally Blonde. The Haven by Norwegian provides a ship-within-a-ship luxury experience with private pool, sundeck, restaurant, and concierge. Norwegian Getaway sails Caribbean itineraries from PortMiami and seasonal European voyages.
