Sun Princess is the magnificent lead ship of Princess Cruises' next-generation Sphere class, delivered in February 2024 from Fincantieri in Italy. At 175,500 gross tons and 1,133 feet long, she is the largest ship ever built for Princess Cruises and carries 4,300 passengers at double occupancy. Sun Princess represents a bold evolution for the premium cruise line, introducing The Dome, a spectacular glass-enclosed entertainment venue inspired by the terraces of Santorini that transforms from a tranquil pool retreat by day into an immersive entertainment space by night.
