Navigator of the Seas

Navigator of the Seas is a Voyager-class cruise ship from Royal Caribbean International, originally launched in 2002 from Kvaerner Masa-Yards in Finland. At 139,999 gross tons and 1,020 feet in length, she carries up to 3,807 passengers and was among the largest cruise ships when she debuted. Navigator of the Seas underwent a transformative $115 million Royal Amplification in 2019 that essentially reinvented the ship for the modern era. The renovation added a massive Caribbean-themed waterpark called The Perfect Storm with two thrilling waterslides, a reimagined pool deck, the Lime and Coconut poolside bar, and a new Hooked Seafood restaurant. The upgrade also introduced Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade, a glow-in-the-dark laser tag arena, and modernized staterooms throughout the ship. Classic features include the impressive Royal Promenade interior boulevard, ice skating rink in Studio B, rock climbing wall, and the FlowRider surf simulator. Navigator was one of the first ships to introduce the Royal Promenade concept that became a fleet-wide signature. The ship sails short getaway cruises from Los Angeles to Ensenada, Mexico, and seasonal longer Caribbean itineraries, making her one of the most conveniently accessible Royal Caribbean ships for West Coast travelers.
