Celebrity Edge is the revolutionary lead ship of Celebrity Cruises' Edge class, launched in November 2018 from Chantiers de l'Atlantique in France. At 130,818 gross tons and 1,004 feet long, she carries 2,918 passengers at double occupancy and fundamentally reimagined modern cruise ship design. Celebrity Edge's most iconic feature is the Magic Carpet, a cantilevered floating platform the size of a tennis court that travels up and down the ship's exterior across 13 stories, serving as a restaurant, bar, and tender boarding station at different heights. The ship features a stunning two-deck Eden lounge at the stern, a multi-sensory venue blending nature, performance art, and cuisine beneath a dramatic glass dome. Celebrity Edge pioneered the Infinite Veranda concept, where stateroom balconies can be opened to extend the living space with an open-air feel while maintaining the comfort of an enclosed room.
