Scarlet Lady

Scarlet Lady is the inaugural ship of Virgin Voyages, Richard Branson's adults-only cruise brand, delivered in February 2020 from Fincantieri in Italy. At 110,000 gross tons and 912 feet long, she carries 2,770 passengers (called Sailors) and disrupted the cruise industry with a radically different approach. Scarlet Lady features no main dining room, buffet, or kids' clubs. Instead, she offers over 20 dining venues all included in the fare, from the Korean BBQ at Gunbae where everyone cooks together, to the test kitchen where Sailors prepare plant-forward dishes, to Pink Agave serving elevated Mexican cuisine, and Razzle Dazzle, a vegetarian-forward restaurant. The ship's Richard's Rooftop is an exclusive sundeck, while the Athletic Club combines gym facilities with a boxing ring, basketball court, and outdoor running track. Squid Ink is a tattoo parlor at sea, reflecting Virgin's rebellious brand identity. Entertainment centers on The Red Room, a transformable performance venue with a variable stage that configures for traditional theater, standing-room concerts, circus performances, and immersive dance parties. The ship features no single-use plastics, uses clean energy technology, and converts waste heat into energy. Scarlet Lady sails Caribbean and Mediterranean itineraries, primarily from PortMiami, with every voyage visiting Virgin's private Beach Club at Bimini in the Bahamas.
