Normally, passengers must pay in full 76 to 91 days ahead of sailing, so this compressed timeline gives planners significantly more flexibility to arrange funds closer to their trip.
The "More Time More Perks" promotion stacks savings on top of the extended deadline. Cruises are discounted up to 40 percent, deposits are half off across the entire fleet, and passengers receive up to $50 in onboard credit depending on cruise length. Cabin upgrades start at just $1 for like-category moves. The offer applies to sailings through May 2027 when booked with rate code O7O.
Onboard credit amounts vary by sailing length: $12.50 per person (maximum $25 per stateroom) on two- to five-day cruises, and $25 per person (up to $50 per stateroom) on voyages of six days or longer. The credit cannot reduce the cruise fare itself but can be spent anywhere on the ship once passengers board. Cabin upgrades are assigned automatically at booking based on availability within the same category, meaning interior cabins can upgrade only to interior cabins, ocean view to ocean view, and balcony to balcony.
For cruise shoppers still deciding between lines or uncertain about timing, the extended payment window removes a common booking barrier. Passengers can secure rates and lock in their vacation plans without committing to payment for another month, which particularly benefits families coordinating finances or travelers still refining their departure dates. The 50 percent deposit discount applies to every Carnival ship and stateroom type, so no cabin categories are excluded from the sale.
