Rotterdam

Rotterdam is the flagship of Holland America Line, delivered in July 2021 from Fincantieri in Italy. At 99,500 gross tons and 984 feet long, she carries 2,668 passengers at double occupancy and is the third Pinnacle-class ship in the fleet. Named after the Dutch port city where Holland America was founded in 1873, Rotterdam continues a proud naming tradition spanning seven ships. The vessel features Holland America's signature Music Walk entertainment district with Lincoln Center Stage classical performances, B.B. King's Blues Club, and the Rolling Stone Rock Room. The Grand Dutch Cafe celebrates Dutch heritage with traditional Dutch bites and Rudi's Sel de Mer offers French seafood cuisine. Rotterdam's Pinnacle-class design includes a spectacular two-story Lido pool area with a retractable glass roof, the expansive World Stage theater with 270-degree LED screens, and the Greenhouse Spa & Salon. The ship introduced the innovative Half Moon Bar and the enhanced Explorations Central powered by a partnership with BBC Earth for immersive destination content. Club Orange offers a premium experience within the main dining program. Staterooms feature the Pinnacle-class's contemporary Dutch design with elevated bedding and spa-style rain showers. Rotterdam sails Caribbean, European, Alaska, and world voyage itineraries, embodying Holland America's philosophy of elegant mid-sized cruising.
