Royal Caribbean’s Seventh Oasis Ship Just Hit a Big Milestone

Royal Caribbean has begun assembly of its seventh Oasis-class ship at the Chantiers de L'Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France, following a keel-laying ceremony on June 11. The 236,900-gross-ton vessel, currently designated B35, is scheduled to debut in 2028 after approximately two years of construction. This milestone marks the physical assembly phase, with steel blocks now being positioned to form the ship's structure. The unnamed vessel will join six sister ships already operating, including Oasis, Allure, Harmony, Symphony, Wonder, and Utopia of the Seas. The announcement comes one day after Royal Caribbean took delivery of Legend of the Seas, an Icon-class ship. While Royal Caribbean has disclosed minimal details about Oasis 7, the ship is expected to feature signature elements common to the class, such as the Royal Promenade, Boardwalk neighborhood, and Central Park. Steel cutting for the project began in October 2025. The seventh Oasis-class order reflects strong demand for these vessels among cruise travelers seeking diverse itineraries and onboard experiences.
