New MSC Mega-Ship Will Feature the Longest Dry Slide at Sea, Spanning 12 Decks

MSC Cruises has unveiled the Tree of Life, a 32-foot architectural centerpiece for MSC World Asia that will anchor the ship's family entertainment district. The structure incorporates nearly 500 feet of integrated LED lighting, allowing its appearance to transform throughout day and night. Adjacent to the centerpiece, The Spiral @ Tree of Life will serve as the longest dry slide at sea, stretching 266 feet across 12 decks and connecting to the World Promenade. The Harbor area will also feature waterslides, an Adventure Trail, playground spaces, and Cliffhanger, an over-water swing. Inspired by contemporary Asian cities and Singapore's Marina Bay Supertrees, the design ties into MSC World Asia's Asia-themed elements. The third World Class vessel will carry up to 6,758 passengers and debut December 4, 2026, launching from Barcelona on 7-night Mediterranean cruises.
