Carnival Cruise Line has launched the Tangalooma Dunes Cabana Club on Moreton Island, Queensland, marking the cruise industry's first beachfront cabana offering in Australia. The company will operate 20 private cabanas accommodating up to eight guests each, available for pre-booking at $399.99 AUD (approximately $281 USD) per cabana starting August 1, 2026. Each structure features direct beach access, lockable storage, complimentary towels, in-cabana refrigeration, adjustable shutters, phone charging ports, and cooling fans. Moreton Island attracts cruisers with its renowned dolphin hand-feeding program and the Tangalooma Wrecks, a marine sanctuary comprising 15 deliberately sunken ships. Carnival Adventure and Carnival Splendor, both Sydney-based vessels, will visit the destination nine times before year's end, with most sailings lasting four nights. The cruise line maintains exclusive access through its long-standing partnership with Tangalooma Island Resort.
