Princess Cruises Returns to 2027 Rose Parade

Princess Cruises will bring a floral float to the 138th Rose Parade on January 1, 2027, marking the second consecutive year the cruise line participates in the annual Pasadena event. The float, built by Artistic Entertainment Services, spans 55 feet long and 22 feet high and incorporates more than 320,000 flowers, seeds, bark, leaves, and natural materials to showcase destinations across Princess's global network.

The parade float ties into the 2027 Tournament of Roses theme, "Welcome," and will feature four signature cruise destinations: Alaska's glaciers and wildlife, Japan's cherry blossoms and temples, Australia's Sydney Opera House and Outback, and Europe's historic villages and coastlines. Marie Lee, Princess's Chief Marketing Officer, framed the float as an extension of the cruise line's 60-year history. "Every destination we visit is unique and every guest finds stories they share again and again," Lee said in a statement. "We're honored to bring that same spirit of discovery and belonging to this year's Rose Parade."

The Rose Parade draws approximately 800,000 spectators along Colorado Boulevard and reaches over 28 million U.S. television viewers, with millions more watching globally.
