Star Princess has commenced its inaugural Alaska season from Seattle, operating 20 roundtrip sailings through the Inside Passage from May through September 2026. The ship departs weekly from Pier 91, calling at Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, and Sitka while offering glacier viewing at Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier. Captain Gennaro Arma highlighted the vessel's design for Alaska voyages, noting its advanced technology and comfort features. Princess Cruises is reinforcing its Alaska commitment through community investments, donating $160,000 across four Southeast Alaska ports. Royal Princess will also operate weekly sailings during 2026 and 2027. The cruise line plans to deploy eight ships and offer 180 departures to 19 destinations throughout Alaska in 2026, featuring local speakers, fresh seafood, and specialty shore excursions as part of its North to Alaska program.
