Carnival Cruise Line Celebrates America’s 250th in Baltimore

Carnival Cruise Line marked America's 250th anniversary with a celebration aboard Carnival Pride at Baltimore's port, kicking off a series of commemorative events across its homeport cities. The gathering drew local community partners, veterans, business leaders, and government officials to honor the milestone. Christine Duffy, the cruise line's president, emphasized the company's commitment to bringing communities together and thanking those serving the nation. A 40-foot inflatable patriotic Uncle Sam hat decorated the ship's top deck, while active-duty service members and veterans received limited-edition America250 challenge coins. Dr. Seuss's The Cat in the Hat appeared in patriotic costume. Additional celebrations are planned for Long Beach, Tampa, and Jacksonville throughout the summer, with special onboard activities and coordinated fireworks viewings on both coasts.
