Scenic Luxury Cruises announces 2028/29 season with Eclipse II returning to Australia, Kimberley, and Antarctica. New Scenic Ikon vessel launches with sold-out

via Cruise Weekly · Published May 9, 2026 · 1 min read

Scenic Luxury Cruises has announced its most expansive 2028/29 season to date, deploying three Discovery Yachts across all seven continents. The Scenic Eclipse II will return to Australia after successful 2024 and 2025 seasons, sailing Kimberley and East Antarctica routes. New to the fleet is the Scenic Ikon, launching with a sold-out inaugural Venice voyage in April 2028. The combined program will span 110 ports and operate across the Mediterranean, Aegean, Egypt, and Antarctica through March 2029. Pre-registration for Eclipse II's 2028/29 voyages has reached record levels, while Kimberley season bookings are already accelerating following last year's sold-out program. Tom Batchelor, VP of deployment and port operations, described the collection as offering guests expanded choice and destinations across ultra-luxury all-inclusive experiences.
