Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Aura reached a major construction milestone this week when the ship was floated out at Fincantieri's Monfalcone shipyard in Italy. The ceremonial launch marks the completion of the vessel's external hull and represents the first time the ship touched water. Norwegian Cruise Line confirmed that interior outfitting will now proceed as the newbuild advances toward delivery. The Aura is part of NCL's expansion plans and continues the line's investment in new tonnage.
