Explora Journeys announced that EXPLORA III will debut in Alaska during summer 2027, sailing from May through September with extensive destination programming. The ship will feature glacier visits, wildlife encounters, and cultural immersion experiences across the region's premier locations. Excursions include helicopter tours over the Juneau Icefield with Mendenhall Glacier landings, catamaran expeditions at Hubbard Glacier, and jet boat trips to LeConte and Shakes Glaciers. Wildlife activities encompass bear viewing in Ketchikan, whale watching in Prince Rupert, and guided glacier hikes in Juneau. Additional offerings feature Stikine River boat tours, White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad journeys, and visits with the Kitsumkalum community. EXPLORA III carries 461 suites and residences alongside multiple dining venues, bars, pools, and the Ocean Wellness spa.
