Carnival Cruise Line has unveiled a major renovation of its private destination in Roatán, Honduras, formerly known as Mahogany Bay and now branded as Isla Tropicale. The centerpiece of the upgrade is Mangrove Bay, a 48,000-square-foot pool complex featuring a kids splash pad, swim-up bar, cabanas, and loungers. Carnival president Christine Duffy described the destination's evolution as part of the company's largest exclusive cruise destination collection. The revamped property accommodates Excel- and Vista-class vessels and already offers 52 shops, three restaurants, four bars, and a scenic chairlift. Isla Tropicale joins RelaxAway at Half Moon Cay and Celebration Key as part of Carnival's Paradise Collection, expanding guest options for private island experiences in the Caribbean.
