A viral video captured a major brawl that erupted in the customs area at PortMiami after Carnival Conquest docked, involving approximately 16 passengers. The fight allegedly started between two women and quickly escalated as additional individuals joined the melee, with luggage and fists flying across the tile floor. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers intervened to restore order. Carnival Cruise Line responded by implementing lifetime bans for 16 people involved in the incident, stating the cruise line does not tolerate such behavior. No arrests were made since those involved declined to press charges, and no serious injuries were reported. The Conquest resumed operations as scheduled, departing the next day on a four-day sailing to The Bahamas.
