Holland America Volendam Begins Its Canada and New England Season
Holland America Line is launching its summer season along the East Coast with two ships offering diverse itineraries. The Volendam arrived in Montreal to begin sailings ranging from seven to 12 nights, visiting ports including Quebec City, Saguenay, and Halifax. The line also offers a 28-night Arctic voyage departing Boston that explores Canada, Greenland, and Iceland, featuring stops at destinations like Nanortalik and Qaqortoq. Following its East Coast schedule, Volendam will embark on a 45-night Mediterranean and Atlantic passage sailing from New York to 21 destinations. Meanwhile, the Zuiderdam operates seven- to 14-night cruises between Boston and Quebec City through October. Holland America is marking Independence Day with a special Zuiderdam sailing departing Boston on July 4th, allowing guests to view the city's fireworks from sea before visiting Norfolk and Saint John.
